Little behind here... while Walk That Fine Thin Line did not win its category at the BMAs, it surely was an amazing night. The entire awards show will be rebroadcast on XM 74 Sunday Noon Eastern Time. It was an amazing night with Buddy Guy receiving a Life Time Achievement Award, Bonnie Raitt presenting, Lonnie Brooks into the Hall of Fame, and so so much more. Now it is back to the grind stone here. :) Show this Friday at Billy's in Grand Rapids, and two shows on Saturday (East Lansing Art Fair and Bells in K-Zoo). Please check schedule for details. Well all right...heading off to Memphis, TN in just a few short days for the BMAs. That's short for Blues Music Awards (essentially the Grammy Of The Blues). In case you hadn't heard, the new disc got nominated for the prestigious BMA and I will learn Thursday whether I won or not. Win, lose, or draw...in any case, it is a huge honor to have been nominated.
